Tank fermented, 100% barrel aged in a combination of 2 to 4 year old French oak barrels.
One’s attention is drawn immediately to aromas of cassis and clove, followed by recognizable notes of blackberry, identifying the Syrah. The Cabernet Sauvignon adds an impression without over-shadowing the stylish combination with flavors of black currant, black pepper, and cocoa powder. The finish displays an appealing richness of plum, dark cherry and an edge of sweet spice.
